The lack of english comprehension of the foreign call center operators making tee times is only surpassed by their lack of relevant course knowledge. Imagine making a tee time and then arriving to find 9 holes closed and the other 9 so sandy that the marshal is suggesting everyone pick up and not putt at all. Then imagine the outrage when you realize your ebr tax dollars are being outsourced to these morons. Surely there are some local youngsters or octogenarians capable of answering the phone to book tee times. Do better brec!

I noticed it was a call center a couple weeks ago when I made a tee time. Never heard that before
I’d imagine if you choose the option to speak to the pro shop instead of make a tee time you could schedule through the pro shop and get the info

I have only used the above link to book tee times. Never had an issue.

I think the problem is even on golf now or Brec app no mention of greens being punched. In the past if I did talk to someone in the pro shop sometimes they would let me know.

Are you saying 9 of SM is closed and the other 9 is unplayable? Is that because of the punched greens? I’m supposed to be playing there Friday and definitely gonna back out of that if so.

In the other Santa Maria thread it was mentioned that the greens were supposed to be punched this week.

If you go to make a Tee Time right now on the Golf Now app SM has an Aerification Alert currently on it..

I’ll definitely start booking on the app…but, my more important point was that ebr tax dollars are being sent to a call center in india instead of staying local.

Just press option 3 and you'll get the pro shop, You can talk to a live person at the course there and make a tee time. We have been able to get on when golf now/online booking says there was no availability, By doing this. Those people that answer the phones are some kind of foreign call center, just stupid to have those people answering the phone

Everyone is punching. Tpc punched this week and South course punched about 2 weeks ago

I've been looking in to this app and I don't understand. Maybe in some areas it's a good deal to book through the app, but it seems like it costs extra for the majority of bookings herein Baton Rouge. Even when I find a "hot deal" at a local brec course, after fees and other crap I'm paying more than if I just pre-paid on the brec course. Even for some of the other courses I've noticed the same thing. The only times I've ever seen a situation wehere I might save a buck or two is a random 3PM tee time at a course that doesn't get alot of traffic.
TLDR: Does anyone actually book through golf now and does it save you money? Give you bonuses?

we punch when its hot and actively growing. if we wait too long into September then we take a chance of a slow recovery
