Regatta Bay or Kelly Plantation?

Prices for weekday twilight are about the same. Which of these 2 is better? Going next month. TIA

They were both good from what I remember and it's probably just personal preference, but I'd vote Kelly. It's been around 2 years since I've played them though.

KP usually gets more praise but I enjoy RB more personally

Which one is more manageable to play? I haven't really played that much the past couple of years and started really getting back into it a month or two ago.

I played both of them last Wednesday and I would book Kelly Plantation before Regatta Bay.

What are some of the cheaper courses in the area? I have a Bach trip coming up in June and all the guys play. But the majority are, well let's just say they like to swing a lot. And aren't real keen on dropping a c note on a greens fee.

The first 2 are on golf now and you can usually find a round for $20. You get what you pay for. They do sell beer.
Indian Bayou is usually ~ $70

Played both last month. RB lost their greens and will be removing them soon. It is trash and wouldn’t waste your time. KP was in great shape.

Agree on Indian Bayou, played it the Wednesday after Mardi Gras, greens were awesome. Paid $75-ish, enjoyable round of golf.

I've played Regatta Bay and Kelly and they were both nice, but I prefer Kelly's layout.

Their greens were rough last week too but like you said, they’re replacing them within the next year or so. They’re also redisigning a couple of holes because they sold some of the property. I’m assuming that’s to help pay for the greens.

i'm with you on this. Kelly is nice but just sort of a boring track to me when compared to regatta.
cant go wrong with either but regatta just has more interesting holes IMO
Indian Bayou always surprises me at how its kept for the price.

Playing Kelly Wednesday morning for the first time since Regatta is under construction and their greens are gone. I’m pretty pumped
