Seems like it would work better if you rotated it so the flat part faced the ball.

This looks strange to me:

My Edel putter is coming in this week with a round, non-tapered grip. The claim is that a round grip gives you a constant grip pressure and less face rotation during your stroke. I'll report back when I start using it. I currently have a Superstroke Flatso 2.0.

Doesn't it also help with the claw grip as well? I saw Justin Rose looks like his is turned perpendicular to the club face.

I got a super stroke slim 3.0 put on my putter last week. Haven't played a round with it yet but I have taken it to the practice greens. I love the feel of it, we'll see how much it actually helps.
