Before my round today I decided to go to the big grip. Honestly I couldn't tell you which model it is cause they just kept handing them to me till I found one that felt right.

Put it on my Odyssey 882 and headed to the course.

1st hole , 20 footer little left to right, falls in on its last turn.

2nd, 12 feet up hill about 6 in left to right...draino

3rd, 6 feet down hill right edge, dead center

5th, 25 footer, 6 inch tap in

6th, 20 footer almost dead straight, cha-ching

Man I could used to that. Who else has made the switch?

I'm about to. Will be putting it on my Ping Wolverine. I've messed around with the oversized putter grips at golf stores, and they seem to help keep the putter face square.

That new feel will wear off quickly.

Just like buying a new putter, LOL

I use the claw grip grip. I like putting my right index finger down the shaft, that grip keeps my finger on the grip. I love it

I tried one of the larger Super Stroke grips a few years ago, I made everything the first round or so. It wore off pretty quickly.. started missing putts again so switched back to smaller. I went to the Flatso 1.0 and really like it.

Putting is so streaky man.

I've got a big grip. It helps keep me from being too wristy during the stroke.

In general I have found larger grips to allow my hands to relax and grip with less effort/pressure, resulting in better feel and with the putter and chipping game better speed/distance control.

Long before the bigger putter grips became popular , I switched to Midsized grips on all my clubs and continue to play them exclusively. BTW my hands fits large golf glove, about average I believe.

No pics plz forego predictable comments regarding hand/junk size

So the obvious solution here is to change grips and putters often so you're always working with a "new feel."

Using a GolfPride Tour SNSR 140 on my Cameron and like it so far, about 15-20 rounds in, I have more on than off days so far which is a positive for me, putter makes or breaks what I end up with on the card.

Ditto on the Golf Pride Tour SNSR 140 with the pistol grip end. I like it a lot better than the Super Stroke.

I've gone from a Scotty DB a to a Versa with a traditional grip. It's been a long time since I've had trouble with hitting a line. The speed is a different story.

Well I've bought 3 putters in the last 40 years, so I think I can suppress that impulse.

Barely.... while they were putting the grip on I tried one of those spider putters you see guys playing with on tour.

I made every putt with that thing. I think there may have been a little drooling.

Till I looked at the price tag. Yeesh. Needless to say I was very careful about putting it back on the display.

Is it bad that I haven't tried the new GolfPride putter grips because the color schemes on them seem awful?

I'm a fan of GP grips on everything else but putter.

I've tried the Flat Cat on an old Odyssey. It was OK and I'll pull it out occasionally for a change of pace, but it is not a grip that I'd use weekly. The feel was just not right for me.
