Having a Marine Corps get together around the MC birthday and Veterans Day down in Cocodrie where one of our Devil Dog lives. Looking to play on Friday and Saturday while we’re there. Checking to see if anyone has played recently and what kind of shape it’s in?

Its in perfectly fine shape for your outing.Fairways and greens are nice.
More broadly, for a facility that seems to have endless cash you would expect the re-grassed bunkers to at least be alive, they are not. The world class cart paths need attention and the rough is horrific.
Drinks from a cooler and candy bars are the only food options as the grill is closed.

Fairways and greens are great, hit it straight or pay the price, just like any other good golf course in the world.

Yeah you gotta be on top of your ball to find it in that rough. Even a foot off the fairway. But damn them greens were rolling.

Played Saturday. It’s in good shape but not worth $110 in my opinion. Range is open though. Don’t hit it in the rough, it’s almost impossible to find your ball!
