Vista Vallarta was really, really good. The Nicklaus course was slightly better than the Weiskopf. They are in the hills above town.

I'd play two of your three there.

The other courses that I know of are flat.

I played Marina Vallarta when I was there. Decent golf course, but Vista Vallarta is definitely better.

Same. I enjoyed it but I'm sure there are better options. The Nicklaus course looked amazing but it wasn't a golf trip so I didn't have any rounds planned.

The Marina course did have a ton of crocodiles though. I figured it was a bit of an exaggeration from the reviews but there were a lot of them out on the course. Not sure what hole it was but one of the ocean holes had a monster croc on it that was super territorial. Living in LA your entire life you aren't really scared of alligators but a few of those crocs I was like nah, i ain't going to joke around with one of those
