These guys are the best in the world. I prefer to see them challenged, but perhaps the PGA and R&A think lots of birdies improve ratings?

I like how this one is turning out. Rough first two rounds, +5 cut. A scoring day that gives everyone a shot.

If tomorrow turns out where par is a very good score, I'd consider it a perfect tournament.

I like the US Open and the Open Championship to play around par. If they stretch and go to about 6-7 under that's as far as I like them to go. I hope it plays really hard tomorrow with the scores how they are today. 3-4 scores under par at the end of those two tournaments are ideal to me.

Masters and PGA can go as low as they want, IMO.

I like the mix. Tough conditions followed by a good scoring day that that puts the best players in the world in a do or die situation to shoot as low as they can while conditions are good. More wind and rain forecasted tomorrow so if you didn't go low today you probably won't catch the leader tomorrow

British and US opens I want to see Even par as a winner. US open should make the pros struggle like I do. British should be a fight against the elements. A mans game the way it was meant to be played. The kind of weather that molded green eyed surly whisky drinking gorillas like me.

I want to see the course, not the officials, dictate the score. As we have seen in this tournament when the weather gets up like is often the case then scores will be around par. If theres no wind or rain to protect it it's going to be easy. That's just the way it is. The officials setting up the course to make it impossible is dumb, IMO. A perfect example would have been oakwing a couple of years ago if it wouldn't have rained. The USGA was putting pins on top of crests on the greens with those speeds. The scores would have been really high, but the course wouldn't have been fair.

Yeah Pins on hills like that were bullshite. Grow the rough all you want and hide pins in the right spots, but not an out right clowns mouth putt.

I don't want to see -20, but don't want +3 winner either.

I don't like them being able to fire straight at the hole in majors. If they making birdies with great shot good for them. Hard greens where they have to pick a small landing spot is fun to watch.

Majors should be tougher than other other tournaments. I think this Open is just about right. Weather made things tough a few days.
