Anyone who's played here the past few months can say that the greens were in really bad shape. During the replacement of the entire irrigation system last fall on the course, the greens were lost. The Poa Annua was so bad some greens were unplayable. The course is scheduled to shut down first few days of May to replace the greens. Wasn't sure if it would take place but the greens have been sprayed and are dying/dead. Going back to the original size of the greens by replacing 4" of profile and planting MiniVerde sprigs. Sounds like they hope to open within a few months of start of project. Should be a fun course to play if all goes well and will be a great option for golf in the area.

They were so bad for so long that my dad left the club. He's been a member since the 80s. I would love if they got them back to decent shape because it's nice playing the course when I visit.

The layout is good and with the irrigation system in place keeping the fairways, rough, and greens in good shape should be no problem. Hopefully when complete they can increase membership, if they get it all right I'll probably join. The man who runs the place is a good guy, hope it works out well.

Great news for the course. I played out there months ago and have refused to go back due to the condition of the greens.

Fun layout, but man it was in terrible condition.

They’ve been wanting to redo the greens for a while but getting buy-in from some old members was hard.

Lol. No, but I do know him. My screenname is my initials forward and backward. There are quite a few people on this site that know me. I can assure you I'm not him.

It's about fooking time. the course is in absolute shambles. I just played a scramble there last week and they had to put a pin in the middle of the fairway on hole 18 bc the green was so messed up

Nothing like being talked about on a podcast or YT video to get the members warm in their loins for the next assessments so they can compare biarritz’s at the next member guest.
