Looking to make a little trip. How are heae course. Never hear about them.

I've played Quali Hollow a few times back when it first opened. Not sure how things are looking now.

Never played Tamahka or Black Bear.

Last time I played BB the bunkers were unplayable. It's one of the best layouts in the state but doesn't get enough play to stay properly maintained. Similar to The Bluffs condition wise

The last time I played Quail Hollow, I played the front nine in 1:36 and then played 10, 11, and 12 in 1:35. I grabbed a marshal and asked why they allow groups of 6 and 7. He seemed aggravated that I was bothering him by asking a question.

I left after and haven't been back.

Played Tamahka a couple weeks back after a huge rain

Bunkers were in dire need of maintenance and greens had been punched earlier that week. Aside from that, it was in pretty nice shape.

Black bear is a fantastic course. As mentioned above, the bunkers struggle from time to time but that's the only gripe I could give. When they are bad, we normally rake and place or pull it out completely

Really want to try and play Black Bear during my stint in Monroe for the next month. I go home on weekends so may try and play Friday afternoon on my way back. What's the green fee out there?

Played black bear Saturday. It looks to me they are redoing the bunkers. The ones with sand in them are good, but alot are hard pan with weeds growing in them. We played them as ground under repair, but that only happened twice in the group so wasnt a big deal. Other than that the course was in good shape. Greens rolled true, but they were slow, I thought. I usually play Squire Creek though so I guess you can take that with a grain of salt.

Overall would recommend especially for the price.

Tamahka is more of a local course for me, love the layout, I wish the casino would spend more $$$ to maintain.
Black Bear is one of the best layouts in the state, but its condition is hit & miss.

Haven't played either recently, so I cant really couldn't tell.
