Does anyone know how the club itself is holding up? Fun track but a bit out there. Nice neighborhood but value would plummet without the course.

TIA

What are home prices and lots going for nowadays? Also I remember them not being that large. The big turnoff for many is how far it is off I-12.

Homes appear to be around $120/sqft

It’s gotta be doing well. Gets a ton of play.

Quick search of the homes available seem to be closer to $170/sqft. It’s developed a ton in the past 5 years, as far as the course goes great track and some of the best greens in the area.

They have DR Horton/DSLD homes on the back 9 after the development stalled. A few nice but older garden homes and then some really nice, bigger and newly constructed homes. It’s an odd mixture for sure. Course is always nice, food is good, practice area isn’t bad but damn it’s in the middle of nowhere!

great course. lots of traffic. weekends you can expect to play at least a 4.5 hour round.

getting rid of their corporate and any discounted memberships........so we'll see how that plays out as far as traffic and overall memberships.

Pretty sure it’s Level homes…. Not exactly high end, but a step or two above DR Horton/DLSD

Maybe they shouldn’t put tee times 6 minutes apart.

i'd say maybe they shouldn't let groups of 6 go out.....but they do......its their course.

No shite it’s their course. Going to the tee for your 10:30 tee time and waiting until 11:10 to tee off sucks. Is that not something worth mentioning?

5 hrs on that course is ridiculous

I’d rather drive to Percy Quinn or tamakha trails than play a 5.5 round

Also be careful going there in the winter months. A few times I had 10 AM tee times booked and they had frost delays that screwed the whole day up. The forecast has it getting below freezing but they will still book tee times 830 and earlier

Best greens in what area? A five mile radius of the course? Surely you don’t mean the whole BR area. Carter is plenty serviceable but a nice course it most certainly is not.

Which public courses have better greens?

The first thing Carter can do and not even space out their tee times more is to just eliminate one of their sets of tees and shorten the mens tees.

WAYYYYYYYYY too many hackers out there measuring their dicks and playing from the wrong tees.
