Can someone recommend me some cord grips?

My old Lamkin Crossline full cords have about had it, they are easily 5 years old. I went to the local golf store over the weekend to check out my options but none of the cord grips now have any semblance of that old, thick, raised cord that I call skin strippers and glove rippers. I want something that will make a calus on a hand. The golf pride z cord was the closest to an old school cord but the cord just isn't raised enough. The multi-compound golf pride isn't worth a damn either for a cord feel. I want my cords to look like it has hair growing out of it. Can anyone recommend a good cord that is actually a cord grip?

I've had those in the past, pretty sure those aren't in production anymore.

Ping makes a helluva grip.
Also, see the Lamkin UTX. It's got cord in it. Post a few down has the link for 13 grips for $39.99

UTX will be too soft for what KR wants. I actually switched from Z-cords to UTX because they are a less abrasive cord. Z-grips were like sandpaper for me.

Golf Pride MCCs get it done for me.
That said, I suck at golf these days....and I sure as hell don't play competitively anymore...so that means I am not playing in a downpour.

Those align multicompounds don't have a cord in them for shite. I want a cord, not a grip with a couple pieces of fabric in them.

I got the old school golf pride cord grips directly through Titleist. The only way I could find the good old cord grip that I liked when I was younger

Why don't you just put some Lamkin full cords on there again

Because the lamkins full cords don't have the traditional cording anymore, and that seems to be a trend amongst the new "cord" grips.

Ah. I didn't realize they changed. Z-cord is probably going to be the "roughest" you're going to get. I have a box of Lamkin full cords from Nike, who knows how old they are. I'll compare them to z cords tomorrow and get back to you.
