I am looking for a ball marker from the following course:

Branson Creek-Branson
Broadwater Beach Resort-Biloxi
Shenandoah CC-Baton Rouge

If anybody has one of these & would be willing to part with it, I would love give it a good home.

I know this kind of cheating but you could always send the logo to a custom place on the web. Doubt they would care about copyright for a defunct club.

I have done this, but it just doesn’t feel right. I am collecting from courses that I have played & there is a satisfying feeling when I find something. It has also allowed me to meet a lot of great people.

Was the Broadwater course called the President or something back in 2000ish? I think I played it once or twice.

Did Shenandoah even have ball markers?

There were 2 Broadwater courses. The President Casino bought the Sun Course & changed the name. So that may be the course you played.
There was also the Sea Course which is the course that had a hole (I think #4) that was all but on Hwy. 90. The Sea Course was originally the Great Southern course. After Katrina, it was bought back & went back to Great Southern.
I have learned a lot about several courses from a lot of great people.

I don’t know. I played in the early 90’s while a student at LSU. A friend’s parents were members. Back then, I barely had money to play golf, so collecting things was not an option.

Maybe so. I think it had a plaque that it had hosted a US Open qualifier in the mid seventies. Looking at wikipedia I think it was the President Broadwater Beach course when I played it.

May have closed before the ball marker souvenir trend got big. I’ve got a friend who was a member there, I’ll ask him when I see him. If they had a ball marker he’d have one

I appreciate your help. I’m certainly ok with an old plastic one as well.

You never know. I mean, I’m not. But there are a lot of people that collect this stuff & love logos from courses that are closed.

I had some pencils from Shenandoah. I'll have to look and see if I have any ball markers

I have a small collection of those as well. They are much harder to find, unless you buy them from PuttView or Strackaline. But if you have some & want to sell them, I would be interested in talking about it.

I vividly remember playing this course in June of 2001. It was when Tropical Storm Allison hit Baton Rouge and just hovered over us. We got like 19" of rain in 3 days. But 150 miles to the east it was dry. So some buddies and I hopped in a car at 5am and drove to the President Broadwater on a Saturday morning just so we could get the hell away from the rain and play some golf.

I think I remember them saying Arnie had played the course at some point.
