Watching the Woods/Shipley group and Shipley has logos on bag and such. I thought the Master asked/made amateurs cover up logos? Is golf brands ok if it's like a stock bag vs having Canes or something plastered all over? Or as long as it doesn't conflict with tournament sponsership?

Yes they are getting paid just as much as the pros. NIL has changed that landscape.

Thank God someone told Jason Day to ditch his Goodwill sweater…which was actually light years better than his atrocious pants.

They should have just thrown him off the course for disgracing Augusta with those pants.

Well he has a Ping bag. I think in the past they have had guys tape up logos. I guess if you had a Ford bag with GM being a major broadcast sponsor.

They taped logos because amateurs could not get paid to wear logos or advertise. That’s not the case anymore. They can receive money for everything a tour pro does except win money from the purse
