Starting with NES ending with Xbox / PS3

NES: Super Mario Bros 3, Zelda, Contra
SNES / Genesis: NBA JAM, FF6, Sonic / Kunckles
N64 / PSone: Shadows of the Empire, Super Smash Bros, Rogue Squadron
PS2 / Xbox / GameCube / DreamCast Eternal Darkness, Super Smash Bros Melee, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2003
Wii / Xbox 360 / PS3 Skyrim, Fallout : NV , COD 4: Modern Warfare
Just curious to what everyone's fav games have been over the years, since I'm feeling retro and want to break out some of my old consoles this weekend.

If this was top 5, there's a very good chance this game would be in my list for this generation. Great game. I still play it occasionally.
Also, I can't help but notice no one listed PC games I know the topic is "console" but it paints an incomplete picture for a lot of us, I'm sure. For example I LOVED Portal 1 & 2 but I played them both on PC.

Wow, really? I'd have loads of them. I'm not even going to list them here since it's off topic and I have no idea how I'd organize such a list in any meaningful way that might fit the console discussion.
