Y'all might disagree but I like Infinite Warfare

I like it. Reminds me of MW2 but just has the futuristic approach to it. I like the fast paced style of the jumping and wallrunning. I do miss some boots on the ground style COD's but this is nice. The guns are good and the maps aren't that bad.

Explain, please. I haven't even gotten to the campaign. I'm only talking about multiplayer. The guns are nice and lots of variants. The worst thing I hated about boots on the ground style was that campers were way worse. If you find a good corner, you could stay there. In IW, you can just wallrun or jump and get past them. Again, I miss boots on the ground but I don't think all the futuristic stuff is a bad break from the norm.

The single player was good (I really liked the space combat segments), but the multiplayer wasn't anywhere near as good as Titanfall.

I tried out Titanfall 2 the other week. I might just not be used to the mechanics of the game but it felt weird. It could have been the objective games that I was playing. The main reason I can't play most of these games is because the wife wants to play as well and they don't offer the split screen like the COD games do.

The biggest issue with the new CODs is a distinct lack of memorable moments. So many in MW1 and 2, and then none after that. Only thing I remember from IW is Kevin spacey, and i just remember the black ops stories being horribly contrived

Corner campers are low hanging fruit, unless they're flanked by players that are actually good.

The maps are garbage, they look like crap and have so many flanks that you always get shot in the back. The killstreaks suck, the graphics are bland, the specialist feel like off brand black ops 3

I don't base my skills in killstreaks and specialist stuff. I use them as a tool but it doesn't make a huge difference in my gameplay. The mechanics feel smooth and nice. The maps aren't that great but some are. They are not on the same level as blops and mw2 but not terrible

I don't think it's as bad as a lot of people think, but it's still not that good. I'll take boots on the ground CoD set in WW2 any day over IW
