If you are somewhere without any Internet connection at all, such as a military base, you will NOT be able to use Xbox One.
This is the only thing I see as a problem with the whole always connected/need interwebz/you know what I mean shite.
All other I really don't care ... you figured out how to make it work yourselves.
quote:quote:similar to PSN downloads... but expect Microsoft to eventually limit the number of systems your handle can be linked to.
so borrow the game and just swap live accounts until you beat the game. problem solved
You used to could share your PSN stuff with 5 other systems... now its only 2
Well if it's based off how it's done now all you need is XBL gamertag and account password and he originally said swap accounts until the game is done ... problem solved.

How does that translate to murican?

YES. The head of Xbox in Europe told The Metro: "Yes, we still see that as a chargeable service... I think that people understand that for a premium service that gives access to so many different rich parts of entertainment. Our consumers are happy and I think we represent great value there actually. If you look at the plethora of things available now through Xbox Live, particularly the Gold service and what we put behind Gold, we’ve got no plans to change that."
Stupid move again imo.
I don't play much online gaming. I mostly play offline games, I use online functions for Netflix and Amazon Instant Video. I no longer care about ESPN 3 because that is total horse shite now.
Why would I pay extra for Xbox Live just so I can access Netflix, Amazon, etc.. when I can access them for free on Playstation Network?

I haven't seen it but $600 is going to be a lot for this IMO ... I was really thinking it might be in the $399 - $499 range.

$600 according to google. Not that I trust this picture, but if it's true then you'd be dumb to buy one over a PC.

Typically, it's a 1:1 conversion. At least, that's how it's been recently, I believe.

Different Strokes for Different Folks ...
I like online gaming and that's what I mainly do ... I hate FPS/Online gaming on PSN because it lags so bad and I always have server issues ... I don't have those with XBL and if I do it's very minimum.

Bike got stolen? Check. People getting held up? Check. I think it's time to invest in a small compact variety of noise maker....and pop a cap in dat arse.

For example, here's a quote from a Kotaku article when the Vita was announced.
quote:
The PlayStation Vita Wi-Fi model is priced at US$249, and the 3G/Wi-Fi model is $299. Additional details about AT&T data plans and pricing will be announced later. Likewise, plans for the PS Vita's carriers outside the U.S. will be made public at a later date. In Japan, the Wi-Fi model is priced at ¥24,980, and it's €249 in Europe. The 3G/Wi-Fi model is ¥29,980 and €299.
