if you are getting the "took to long to start" error something is wrong.
Did you try and change the power mode?
It would be foolish to go out and buy the PS4 without at least trying all routes. Is it still under warranty?

I'm surprised you let your little brother get a XBone in the first place

What if BO1 is released for XBone backwards compatibility, wouldn't it be great if you could go to his house and play?
