Just read an article about tethering the iPhone to play on xbox love. I was pretty skeptical about how it would work on live. However I tethered, bridged connections, and signed in an damn, it works. No internet where I live that's why I did this. It took a while todownload the live updates but once i got into a game it never lagged. Awesome if you were in my situation

Drawback:
3G network is not reliable, you lose signal every 5 min or so

wrong.
the reason why it isnt reliable is because you jailbroke your phone.
use iphone os 3.0 for apple stable tethering. thats all i will say.

I jailbroke with blackra1n on 3.1.2. Installed tethering settings from cydia. Never lose signal surprisingly(in central where I'm
always getting dropped calls). You tether to pc then connect computer to 360 with an Ethernet cable and bridge those connections. And boom, you got live. Just give the updates time to download, after that it's worth it

my mind was just blown. I didn't know that was possible

thanks for sucking up the bandwidth asswipes. is it really necessary to use your iphone to play xbox live? imo tethering is only really useful if you desperately need internet where it is inaccessible like the car.

There is no way in hell you are getting any kind of decent latency playing on live with your I-Phone.
It may look to you like you are having no lag if your latency does not spike up and down, but you are probably a solid 100ms behind everyone else on latency

Yea shits crazy. Never thought it would actually be playable. But might as well take advantage becuase AT&T is gonna get rid
of unlimited plan eventually
