There is no need for a restart or re-log of your client or the servers. if you are online at 2am central time (3 EST, midnight on the west coast) you will see a popup quest telling you to go see Khadgar or someone. I plan on waking up about 10 minutes before go-live and be online ready for the quest to popup.
For what it's worth, I expect a more smooth launch. There's always going to be some minor issue, but I've never dealt with server crashes or game breaking issues since BC launch. Cata did have the no xp bug the first 20 minutes for me. MoP was a flawless launch on Kargath for me as well.

I notified my wife, in a public service announcement kind of way, that the frequency of my computer usage was going to go up for a period of 2-3 weeks. I got the death stare. Gamers gonna game...

I told her pretty straight up that Thursday-Sunday to not expect me to do shite outside of that game on the couch. I will at least rotate seats so I don't wear one cushion out. It's the least I can do. I've got my supplies all purchased and the mini fridge setup so I won't have to go anywhere farther than the bathroom 15 feet away for that time period.
I'm ready to wreck fricking shop on Draenor. Stake my ground, setup shop and take it to the Iron Horde.

naw, the decision was made long ago to do it Thursday so as to not interrupt Veterans day, they stated that as soon as it was questioned the day they announced the release date.
I'm actually impressed with Blizzard for this considering how set in stone Tuesday is for EVERYTHING THEY DO.

Im leveling Mage first. DK was my main last expac and every other but my Mage is about even now in gear. BOth 570 something.

Dk -> druid -> shaman -> monk, hopefully all by Sunday night.
2hd frost Dk is my passion and what I am best at. Can't tank worth shite with him though. Druid is my tank, and I'm solid for anything with him. Shaman is my healer, and monk is just fun. I'll get the rest of my 90s to 100 over the rest of the month.

My druid (feral) was my first toon and has always been my main, plus she has the legendary weapon from Garrosh and is best geared otherwise, so she's first.
DK (frost) also has the legendary, so she's second.
I have a few other 90's (holy priest, mage, mistweaver monk, prot pally) that I'll figure out later.

Mage is my main. Rogue is my alt. I'm with GWT, my rogue feels so squishy after playing a pally some.
I enjoy ranged more anyway. Thinking leveling a lock eventually, but crap the grind from 1-100 is gonna suck.

It goes crazy fast if you get some heirloom items. I did the 1-90 grind with my mage and monk, and it wasn't too bad really.
