I thought the battle at the castle would be the end of the game, it was done right with everyone participating and it was epic, but the journey continues, it looks like 40-60 hours is right for completion if you don't obsess on doing everything, which I will do in my next pay.

****ENDING SPOILERS************
Frick this man, all the feels right now. My ending had me sad, then happy, then crying like a little baby. Great game, just so many feels.

I love this game and am already looking forward to playing a 2nd time when I finish it, I am getting close but this game makes you think you are close and then says "but there is more."
I wanted to post in the official thread but the three time I tired I only saw post bitching about it. I think people feel entitled now more than ever, hell we all laughed at the Skrim flaws, we want MORE while paying the same price for a game it seems.

Just finished the game and all I can say is !
I know this is a spoiler thread but I won't post any now, all I can say is I didn't feel the need to skip the cut scenes or blow through conversations like I normally do. CDPR did this right.

GOG say's 36 but I am not confident in their accuracy but it's in the ballpark.

Damn, I'm at 40 hrs and haven't left Velen.

I usually do this with a first play through, I don't rush but I don't do it all, my 2nd play will take MUCH longer I left a lot of stuff undone and missed a lot of the side quests and places of interest.

Question: Do we eventually get to kill the crones? Those bitches need to pay!
I was able to see past the tree spirit's ruse. Baron is intact.

Well, that was certainly one way to end Geralts story.

I think there are three possibilities for then ending cut scene.

How/when do you trigger the assassination of Radovid questline? I did the first quest where you recruit that guy after you help Triss, but then the quest ended and I haven't received another one.

pretty sure you have to be reasonably far along the main story for that quest to continue

I entered act 2. Wanted to make sure I didn't miss anything.

I assume Act 2 is when we finally reach Ciri?
Played that last night, I jumped from lvl 23 to lvl27 instantly..? Does that sound right?

The story quests literally throw XP at you

I leveled up twice by completing the battle of Kaer Morhen then there's all the other stuff before you fully regain control of Geralt. I was level 25 going into it and level 29 before I got back to where I could free roam again.
Still don't know how to continue the Radovid assassination subplot. How does it start? It is random or do you have to trigger it somehow?
