One thing this game has that Skyrim did not is the in depth different story lines if you choose different sides, it's pretty cool.

I beat it last week, and I'm thinking about starting it again, but making different story choices. I'll probably level completely different things as well.

If you choose the other side from Roche and Lorveth you get to see the battle and story line from the other side of the mist.

Cool. I'm thinking about playing it on the hardest difficulty as well. I didn't really struggle at all from the middle of the 2nd chapter til the end. It probably helped a lot that I complete just about every side quest until the last chapter.

I beat her on my first try.



eta: I just used Quen everytime I got hit, and rolled away from her attacks. I only attacked with my sword when she put her claws on the tower and breathed fire.

normal difficulty.

nba playoffs started and i got cable. not playing video games hardly at all lately.

It'w worth it to play through twice to see the other side of the battle. Took me about 40 hours played to finish the two.
