Why hasn't Disney/Marvel done a game similar to Ultimate Alliance 1 and 2?

I know they've had the LEGO: Avengers games but I recently picked up Ultimate Alliance 1 and 2 and enjoy the hell out of them. Would like another one to come out

Movie licensed games are almost exclusively mobile games now.

Does the Disney and Marvel deal even include video games or are those movies deals exclusive rights for movies only?
Because the Ultimate Alliance games seemed to have the entire Marvel roster even though franchises like X-Men, Spider-Man and Fantastic Four were having movies made by different studios.
2 came out in 2009 though and that's around the time Disney bought Marvel Studios

Disney itself is no longer in the video game business. They killed their games studio in the last month or two. Any games will have to be licensed by another publisher.

Because they make a ton of money on free to play mobile games that don't cost as much to make as console games.

Well, because it would complete my nerd life.
Looks like I'll have to go find an old 360 or ps3 now and, both games. Just mentioning them makes me want to play them both again.

oh man.. I would friggin love a DC version of Alliance!
but to the OP, I would friggin love another marvel alliance as well..
maybe just one with the "street level" characters..

They could do an Overwatch style Marvel vs DC game. Hell, some of the overwatch characters are modeled after Marvel characters already

Why didnt they make a Kingdom Hearts game with Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, Final Fantasy, Pixar? I want an Avengers team with Captain America, Micky Mouse, Luke Skywalker, Fighter, and Sully. Imagine going against a Masters of Evil with Baron Zemo, Pete, Vader, Sethiroth, and Scar?

Having all the franchises "play nice" with each other is something that Disney Infinity had trouble with. Apparently Marvel people didn't want their characters interacting with Star Wars or Disney characters and vice versa.
