So this is 31.99 with the gamers club unlocked through Best Buy. Is it worth picking up for that price?

Game is way too easy. I play on pro and can't lose. They need to fix this pronto.

Every single boxing/mma game has been way too easy if you play the careers. Online play is the only thing these games have ever been good for.

Man, I was getting a mudhole stomped in me yesterday. I don't know what it was, but I just couldn't finish fights to save my life. I would rock my opponent a few times, and then they would either rock me, or flash KO me out of no where. Really frustrating. I've held the belt with every weight class except my heavyweight. I can't get over the title fight hump.

Not just career. In custom fight cards I use Shawn Jordan (85) and first round KO Cain Valesquez (92). Others I have won with have had an even larger gap in ratings. Game is just too easy against the cpu, no challenge.

Play online. It's a different beast.

Today's the day fellas. 1/2 day behind the desk then finally caving in and going get it. Hopefully they match with low ranked people at first so I don't fight any of y'all who been playing for a few weeks.

I don't know how they match up people. The fights go so fast at times that you really don't have time to care about it

If you are playing Ultimate Team, make sure you create a fighter for each weight class, because you get 1 free pack per created fighter. So it would be good to mix it up.

Not Undisputed fast, huh? That game was ridiculous and never seemed to get out of round 1. It isn't like that huh? I like the brawls that go at least into the late 2nd. Hell I even sometimes let up when I knock someone down just so the fight keeps going. Which 90% of the time come back to haunt me and I end up getting KOd.

I've been knocked out in 15 seconds on a flash KO, and I've knocked dudes out pretty quick as well. If you don't know how to defend, then yes the knockouts can happen as fast as undisputed. However, most of my fights go at least to round 2 and sometimes decision. It's all about being a good counter striker in my opinion. You can be aggressive, but you don't know what perks the other fighter has and it could be deadly if you aren't careful.

Ok, I'm not too worried then. I can defend and counter-strike pretty well. Only thing that got me in the beta at least was the clinch game. Something I've never been good at. Going to need to practice that a little b/c judging by the beta that could be a killer in this game.

I've never understood why people struggle to defend the clinch. I honestly welcome someone to tie me up in the clinch because 9 times out of 10 the first thing they are going to do is go for a knee. So I block that and as soon as I can, I transition into a single collar hold, and then I move into my own Thai clinch. Then I rain hell down on my opponent. Plus, the moves are so slow that you can literally see the move before it comes and switch buttons for blocking.

I've just never been good at breaking clinch for some reason. I can block all day long in the clinch, but I just struggle transitioning. Weird because I don't have the same problem on the ground.

as soon as you block a strike (specifically a knee strike), you have a small window to transition into the single collar. Here's a pro tip for you. Find the single collar transition.. and know from that point that whichever direction you moved the analog stick to get to the single collar, that the opposite of that is going to be the Thai clinch. It will give you the advantage over your opponent.

Got the game Friday. Played a good bit over the weekend. I really like it so far. Only thing I dislike is the ground and pound. Seems like if someone gets you mounted and is able to get a shot in then that's the game. Getting out of the clinch is much easier in this game to me for some reason. All you have to do really is block a shot and then you can break pretty easy. Through the weekend I believe my record was 38-23. Longest title defense was 8...My most epic fight of the entire weekend came last night though. Dominick Cruz v Dominick Cruz in a title fight. I was contender. It was an awesome fight and he probably would have retained the belt in a decision. 30 seconds left in the 5th round we decide both to go for it and start swinging. I hit him with a spinning right hand and drop him and get the KO with 20 seconds remaining. Ended up messaging each other afterwards to say how great a fight it was.

Sidenote: Went to Gamestop Friday afternoon to pick it up. Those assholes were out of the game. (1 more reason to hate that place) Needless to say I was kinda aggravated. Went to BestBuy in the pouring rain, and for some reason the cashier gave me $20 off the game and I ended up only paying $41 after tax, lol. Not sure if it was a promotional thing they're doing for the game, but I wasn't asking any questions. Lol.

UPDATE: Looks like the sale was/is company wide at Best Buy. LINK

It's crazy they've dropped the price on the game that fast. I've never seen that happen before. Must be tanking pretty bad?
