Who is picking up that UFC tomorrow?

Just curious. Buddy of mine played the early access and he says it is pretty legit. Rosters look pretty cool.

I would but I'm heading to the boot this weekend for a wedding baw. I wasn't a huge fan of the beta, but I'm going to get it anyway. May wait a week or two to see if I can find one online for a little cheaper than retail, but going to get it either way.

Been playing it for a couple of hours. Pretty good. IMO Definitely worth 60 bucks if your into UFC.

Heard the game modes kind of lacked substance. Read a review that the Career Mode is lacking a lot of detail and pretty much a bore. Also read that the knockout game mode was pretty much unplayable online. Any truth?

No idea. I honestly have never thought about buying a UFC game for the offline competition. It always felt like a game that I wanted to go online and bash faces in and have fun with.

Man i used to have UFC 09 when I was still at lsu and in my first apt and would stay up all night slamming Seagrams fricking screaming at the tv everytime I got arm barred within 2 seconds of the match. But the stand up wars and my ruthless body shots kept me coming back. Loved that game. Played a whole career in 1 night losing the belt to Rashad Evans like 5 times from getting wrestle fricked lol

Never could grasp how to do reversals which was crucial in the ground game on UFC 09 which led to a lot of sub losses. Might try this one out not sure yet

Honestly, the ground game (submission wise) is next to useless. It's so stupid hard to submit somebody.

The streams I've seen online of the ground game just seem like it's a transition war. No punches are able to be thrown because everyone is so intent on transitioning to the next position whether beneficial or not. Was pretty funny and looked pretty stupid. But being a big UFC fan I'm sure I'll pick it up next week sometime.

My clinch game is my bread and butter. To stop the powerful clinch knees, you have to block low. All you have to do is block low real quick and then memorize which direction the R stick needs to go to get into the single collar. Once you're in the single collar you can do various things.
