What was your favorite Super Mario game?

I am not talking Mario Kart! I am talking about Mario and his brother Luigi trying to save the kingdom and/or the princess! I have had a Wii for 4 years and play all my favorites through the virtual console downloads. I have SM Bros 1 and 3, SuperMarioWorld, and had SuperMario64 (on my laptop...but it disappeared). As much as I love these, my favorite was SuperMarioLand for the original Gameboy! I wish I could play this through the Wii! I would love to find an old Gameboy to play it, as well!
What is your favorite?

Super Mario World because it was the first video I can remember. I've played it a few times online and it really brought back some memories.

1. Super Mario Galaxy - Represents the best of video games and creativity. It really is that good.
2. SM 3 - Pure 2D gaming bliss.
3. SM 64 - The revolution
4. Super Mario World - Refined.
5. Yoshi's Island - Nothing else like it.

Super Mario World for SNES or Super Mario 3.
Each of them takes me back to my childhood, mostly 3 but World was the better game.

5. Super Mario Bros Wii
I agree with everything except #5 so I changed it. The Wii version was fun and at times pretty challenging. I didn't really care for Yoshi's Island.

Super Mario 2 for NES was one of the first games I got as a kid (31 years old).
The hype for super mario 3 as a kid was maybe more than any other game in my lifetime.
