What is Everquest Next?

i dont think it will ever come out..when Daybreaker took over they cut alot of the people working on it

Total shame. A game with an already established fanbase where they could literally remake eq 1 with enhanced graphics and be successful.

I hate that, but honestly the footage I saw didn't look good. I also didn't like how they were basically "re-imagining" the lore of EverQuest. It should've taken place in the same timeline either before or after previous games in the franchise.

What is that supposed to mean?
We can only judge what they have allowed us to see. Am I to believe that EQNext has really improved that much since those videos from SOE Live 2014? Obviously not as the game was in development hell from that moment on forward.
