What do you think it is? Is it just an extra peripheral and not really a new console?

Do you think you will buy it?

Will it fail or succeed?

Is this Nintendo's last console if it fails?

Does Nintendo morph into a hand held/mobile company if it fails?

-It's apparently a mix

-No

-As usual with them, it will sell a kajillion in the first 3-5 months and then fall off dramatically. Ultimately a fail

-I hope so. I want their awesome games on other systems. I refuse to buy a full console for 2-3 games a year.

-Probably

It better be the most amazing fricking thing since Abella Anderson or I'm gonna go cry in a corner for a year.

Nintendo has been out of touch since the N64 days. I don't suspect anything will change.

Console with some peripheral no one wants.

Not unless they make about 3 Zelda games for it -OR- get some more titles that cater to older gamers.

Personally, I think the writing has been on the wall for a while at Nintendo. Mario can't carry a system to success anymore. Stranger things have happened...maybe Nintendo hits on another surprise success. But, I'm not betting on it.

No. Nintendo is pretty stubborn, which can be a good thing or a bad thing for them.

I already think of Nintendo as a hand held company. Then again, the last two or three hand helds I owned were Nintendo (Gameboy Advance, DS, and 3DS).

This is where I stand as well. I hope this thing is incredible.

But I feel like it will be meh because that is how Nintendo has conditioned me to feel.

I can't believe they aren't going to bring it to E3.

Fail IMO.

You need people to see this thing and know what the hell it is.

They have to keep their space for the future. They may not use it all. If they get rid of their space they may not be able to get it back.

I seriously doubt that is any kind of factor in their thinking.

Companies like Sony, Nintendo, and Microsoft really don't even need E3 anymore TBH.

Do you foresee a big "Gotcha" moment from Big N where they bust out the NX for everyone to play?!

It's pretty common for companies to try and reserve space there even if they have nothing to show.

I just don't think Nintendo is all that concerned about losing future space for an industry event that has mattered less and less each year.

I'm not saying they will bust out the NX but I also don't think they are going to show up with little more than Zelda and a couple 3DS titles.

I wouldn't put it past Nintendo to be either.....or both.....or neither.

If it's a more powerful console, yes, easily. If it's a mobile device only, no.

Will it fail or succeed?

Depends. If it can get third parties, and that means being on par technically with other consoles, then I think it can be better than the Wii U for sure. So it CAN succeed. If it's too far out there, it won't. If it's mobile only, I think it fails, we're at that point where cell phones rule all. 3DS sales are slowing, and I don't think a mobile only console can be successful anymore.

No, if it fails, I still think they have one more in them. And I think if this wasn't on par technically and does fail, that they'll give in and make that kind of console.

Never. They want the console market back and they'll wither on the vine unless they do. I don't want to see them go hand held/mobile or third party. I'd be ok with them going away. Or at least, I'd never be a fan again, as I think they'd lose their entire identity. Their consoles are still the most unique, and have the most interesting games. And that's all because they control the vertical.

I don't understand why someone wants to play a full game on a touchscreen.

I feel like the vast majority of the success of the console will be attributed to how good the new Zelda is. As much as they've pushed it back to add things and make sure the game is 100% ready, I'm definitely expecting an amazing Zelda game.

I wish Nintendo would stop making consoles and just publish their first party games.

Pretty much everything for the Wii that isn't first party is crap anyway.
