I honestly don't have that much desire to return to 3. I got to the Catacombs in NG+ and just felt burnt out.
Whereas I've been making slow but steady progress in my BL4 run of Bloodborne (currently at Cainhurst and have Mensis, Upper Cathedral Ward, and DLC to do afterwards). Game is godtier and so much better than DS3.

I need to refresh my stick skills before the DLC comes out. I tried to just randomly play the other day and got my shite pushed in by the ghosts in BV. Should probably take a look at the balance changes too. I know they nerfed rapiers a bit before I quit playing but it wasn't too bad. They had to have touched the Dark Sword by now, right?

About what I expected. If anything, I hope the DLCs bring some actual finality to the story.
All of the Velka / Ariamis talk is already getting on my nerves. Not a fan of more lore back peddling, which seems like it's for the sole purpose of giving the Souls Youtubers and reddit something to yammer on about.

I haven't really paid any attention at all to the lore after DS1. Just seems pointless, and arbitrary. You can make your own meaning for anything, because everything is vague and open to interpretation.

They spoon feed it to you in 3, and if it's any indication, this is more of the same. Giant Dad will show up at some point.
