I guess "hit boxes" or "hit detection" is a better way of saying that. But friggin...I recorded a clip of a guy killing me where he pretty much did a rainbow over my head as I was running past, not once did his crosshair touch me, but all of them were a hit marker.

BLOPs 3 is remotely playable, while BO1 was the climax of the entire COD series. When MW3 came out, a small part of me died on the inside and every attempt at a reunion has been short lived.

If bo1 does become backwards compatible, could mean we can see some of the other COD come next

IMO:
BLOPS 1 (when my COD skills peaked, owned 2 copies)
MW2 (just hella fun, went thru 3 copies)
COD4 (it's simplicity made it great)
MW3 (bad spawns, mehh map design)
BLOPS2 (okay but catered to kiddos & e-gaming)
BLOPS3 (own and play because my friends play)
Advanced Warfare (refused to purchase)
Ghost (refused to purchase)
at some point in the series, the developers decided "frick it. throw accuracy, skill, and shot placement out the window; let's cater to the next generation of COD players by making it easier to pick up and get kills immediately". You mix that in with the push for a futuristic setting, along with fictional gadgets and kill-streaks. And the series lost me and many others. Now it's more about special abilities, fictional gadgets, and unrealistic athleticism. Not gun skill, playing the objective, and working together as a team. I want COD, not Halo. I will buy Halo, if I want Halo.

it was still dominant post but I did starting messing around with the G11 and Aug after the patch. Treyarch has the best gun balance in the franchise.
Blops 1 was def the peak of COD for me. We'd always have a crew on and we'd go days without losing a match.
