I've looked around, and apparently a lot of people who did the digital download were having issues. I saw on reddit that if you go to manage game, there is a "Vanguard Armory" file that is like 8mb's that you have to download, even if you installed everything. Restart the xbox, and it should all be there.

Ok I found it. You still have to buy the weapons from the vanguard quartermaster but I guess they're available early

Yup, running off a few hours sleep.
Mainly played story mode. Really fun, but strike missions are pretty tough if you don't have a team of 3.
Played 2 games of 6v6 TDM, and its legit. Just trying to get some gear in story mode first.

Firesquads put you into a group with your friends/people you invite. It seems for PvE(story mode) you can have up to 3 people at the beggining.
If you want to play Crucible(Multiplayer) you can have up to 6. I think the firesquads increase once you unlock other planets.
