Yeah Wil is so wrong on this one its not even funny. But then again, this is the same guy who decided to ban the use of the word "slaves" on TableTop from a board game that uses slaves - and decided they would be called "helpers" instead. Forget the fact the game also includes assassinations.

Not sure what you imagine in terms of laws but it isn't going to happen for a whole host of reasons.

I really couldn't care less about gamergate/ anti-gamergate. It was about the most pointless controversy I can imagine. Everyone has known video game journalism is crooked for years, but then a bunch of people flipped their shite over some minor game no one cared about.

She's also in Twitter's new Gestapo, so there's that.

Eh, I already read all about the drama on reddit from a while back. I don't really partake in the SJW bullshite that is intruding in every single aspect of life nowadays. I'm not saying their aren't prejudices out there but I personally think people are just wanting a reason to be offended today. The internet has given people a voice and people want to shout about something regardless of whether it's worth shouting about or not.

Today's youth wouldn't last a week in previous generations society. They don't know oppression. I've traveled in the military and seen what oppression looks like. Our generations are making HUGE strides in gender equality and being open minded. It's not going to fricking happen overnight and all venom back and forth isn't going to will it any faster. It's literally causing even more divide between the sides.

Gaming is my most passionate hobby. I listen to more podcast and read more gaming news than I ever have but their social war just doesn't interest me. I have my own problems that I have to deal with. I play games to escape, have fun, chill and immerse myself in something that the artist and game developers created.

In all honesty, Gaming is still making it's place in our society. 25 years ago gaming was perceived as something for kids and "nerdy/childish" adults and look how far it's come so far. Over the last decade or so gaming has become mainstream and it wasn't until then that we really started hearing about more females getting into the industry or seeing the spike in girls with gaming as a hobby. It's silly that it's an issue but society will get there. It just takes a little time.
