There have been a lot of sad pics floating around. I really didn't know how impressive his career was until he died and I read up on it.

I think "crapping on Nintendo" is the trendy thing as of late (I'm certainly guilty), so it's easy to forget what the Nintendo family did for gaming. As goofy and eccentric as those people could be, they loved games.

Many people like me aren't happy with where they are at now but their mark on the industry can not be overstated. Video games in the home were dead until the NES.
