For a large part, BFBC2. I know that community has dwindled, but last I played there were still players.
Other than that, I'm just curious if Xbox is still actively releasing titles and if there are still a decent number of people playing newer titles.

There's definitely a decent number playing newer titles but as with all aging consoles that number is becoming fewer by the day.
I think you'd get your use out of it if you bought one and it'll be good to have around whenever you get the urge to play an older title

Yeah get a modded xbox 360 that is safe for online.. then just download all the games you want.
