Before the encounter. The tests are random encounters where you have a choice to show a virtue in how the situation is handled. Good luck you weren't being a-hole Geralt during those encounters

Haha dang, I must have just gotten super lucky.

I haven't started a NG+ for this one yet and on my first playthrough I've always tried to do the right thing and be nice to everyone.

When I do NG+ I'm planning on being a dick to everyone. One of my friends did that and and apparently you get several more dialogue options in certain encounters.

It will be the best RPG for years to come. I honestly can't see anything topping it for at least another five years or so, if that.

It's the only open world game like this I've ever played where I'm never bored with any side quest.

Also, the bank mission in B&W may be my favorite side mission of all time. Never before have I seen a game make the make character go through every day struggles like that mission did haha.

NG+ is stressful at times. Much prefer enjoying the story and soaking the world in on a first run through for games like this.

I had a blast. Spent about probably 200+ hours on my first playthrough, not counting expansions.

I'm looking forward to doing it again.

Yup. It will go down in lore.

It's the video game's version of Lebron in the shadow of MJ.

Geralt just popped some buttons and is twisted. Roche is talking to him.

Quest is called "Equine Phantoms". Can pick it up from a hermit lady NorthWest of Basane Farm right off the river.

Edt: FYI his horse, not human friend. Told Geralt he was worried and thought about giving him some white honey but... you know, the hooves and stuff.

Geralt: "Hey you know how you always show up when I whistle? How's that work exactly?"

Roche: "Well you're my human. Gotta be there when you need me."

Geralt: "Still kinda strange - how you cross oceans when I call sometimes, but then get hung up on the tiniest fence. What's that about?"

Roche: "What can I say? Everyone's got limits.

Edt: It gets better.. ROACH giving orders now. shtt favorite side quest of the DLC.

I haven't touched the game in over 6 months. I was shocked to see how much else they've changed since then. CDPR has put a lot into polishing even the most minor annoyances. They could bring in another $100 million in revenue on this game just by making a few more expansions.

Their biggest concern at this point is probably figuring out how they'll meet their own bar in future titles.

Edit: The horse is Roach, the human friend is Roche

It can be done. Valve nailed it with Portal and LFD2 great title.

None the less they might not ever surpass this game and that is fine. They will however deliver a better product than what is offered today by others.

BIG LOVE INTEREST SPOILERS FOR B&W

I played my cards right and let Syanna "have her way with me". I'm a sick son of a bitch. Just couldn't resist that Little Red Riding Hood she had on.

Just bought it, thankfully I have a half day at work today, cant wait to jump into this.

I'm pretty sure even before B&W that this is my favorite game of all time at the moment.

I finished the game last night.

Just incredible. It's honestly depressing that it's over.

I'm still going to go back and start over from a late save point and do some stuff differently, but wow. What an amazing expansion.

Just wait until you go to the fairytale world. It's so fricked up

The statue balls mission is fantastic.

Man, frick those bandit strongholds. I cleared out two last night, but I had to load up on potions and all the cheese tactics I could muster. Fixing up my vineyard and home, putting all my sword and armor on display was strangely satisfying.

I'm staying away from main story missions until almost every decent notice board mission is found.
