I have no idea how the draft will work, only that it is set to begin tomorrow around 7:30.

Just keep me posted on who is finished with what.

I have no earthly idea how draft will work. I really have no clue how the offseason will work at all either.

3 of 11 users have complete FA signings it appears. The new Yankees user will be doing it shortly also.

Man I thought there would be more excitement about the offseason

I am hoping the cpu attempts to resign their players. If not it will be a free for all. That would be a great thing for me though. I kept tons of budget free to sign free agents but I have a ton of needs. If some of my guys don't sign I may be in a massive bind for next season.

As far as the first I have zero clue how that's going to work. I know it starts around 7:30 tomorrow. Now will it be a you pick and then wait on the next pick (like coaching carousel) or when the draft starts everybody has X amount of minutes to pick, I have no clue. You may miss that, but if it's a pick right away thing I'm sure a lot will miss.

I scouted out the draft and I was pissed. I busted my arse scouting needed positions all year and had a large list of 90 potential players on my board. I went and looked at the draft board and didn't see a person over 75 potential. Maybe that will change at draft time, but if I can't pick above a C rated guy in the draft, then why draft at all.

Well then you will miss nothing if you can be by the draft. I wasn't going to advance without you. Timing worked out perfectly.

You are a traveling mfer. At least you won't miss the playoffs again. Good thing about this schedule is you really don't have to miss a game, you can always play them before or after and then Sim what you couldn't play at the end of the season.

Would have been interesting to see how the playoffs played out with you here.

My budget increased 4.4 mill or so. I don't remember exactly but it's over 100 mill, but I also have the Bo Sox.

I noticed it does this for young players who you can not yet offer arbitration to. I got tired of it and just offered to renew their contract, which doesn't take as long.

Positive side- really cheap contract.

Negative side- only a one year deal.

Once they have been around the league long enough you can offer then regularly. It's a pain in the arse bc I wanted to lock a few of them up long term, but got tired of messing with it. Your contract renewal will most probably get them to resign 99% of the time though.

It will depend for me. There are some guys I certainly tried to sign and there are others I low balled hoping to get them on a good deal for a few more seasons and if they don't sign oh well. So we will have to see who signs and who doesn't. If the ones I'm hoping sign do not I may be in some big trouble, but I will have lots of money to spend. Just don't know what type of talent will be out there.

I got a 6 million increase to 75 million haha. Toronto isn't that small of market but I guess Rogers is super cheap.
