The Next GTA Installment

figured I'd post something that isn't MW2 related. recently read an article/saw a video (no link, just check the wikipedia page or something) on how the next GTA installment will be coming out in 2010, and that it will likely be in Vice City. what is the GB's opinion of the GTA series?

IMO, it peaked at GTA 3, after that they just became a little too complicated with too much shite happening

for me, it has the highest replay value. if they can make online multiplayer worth a shite, then it'd be perfect

This is heaven. Also I forget what the game is called, I think its mob something where you get a job and you are up against another group to make the pickup in a certain amount of time. It's nuts.

Vice City probably.
I don't know how many more GTAs will be made though, what with Rockstar releasing Red Dead Redemption and Agent later on this year.

Was Vice City the one where you had the golf course you could go and kill the golfers at 3 AM in the morning? That was great because they always had money. Lulz.

The sword, chainsaw and minigun were the lulz in Vice.
And a helicopter where shooting things wasn't a giant pain in the arse.

The parachute was the shite. I loved jumping out of the planes and helicopters and hitting the chute when it's time. I missed that in San Andreas. That would have been nuts with the Harrier.

I hope the next GTA has more side missions to help prolong the game after beating the main story. There are only so many times you can start a 6 star police chase before getting bored. The randoms on the street in GTA IV were kinda cool, but there were only 10 of them.

I loved the last one because of the improved 3rd person shooting they had. I hadn't really played one since GTA III for PS2 so I was hooked on GTA IV for the PS3. Hope they keep this franchise going. It's one of the few games you can just pick up and play for a few minutes if you're looking to kill time because of the free mode.

Am I the only one who found jumping out of helicopters at the highest possible altitude was more fun than anything else in GTA IV
