There are some major frame rate issues going on in the demo, looking like it's in the teens at some spots.

You're watching a game's frame rate, through the frame rate of another video.

Except I played every Zelda on the Wii U and they all had frame rate problems, this looks worse and it will be for sure more demanding than a decade old port. Also I played Xenoblade X and experienced all the sacrifices they had to get it to run decent, really the only title comparable to this and it had extreme pop in and frame pacing issues.
I would bet a small dog that this game runs rough, really nothing shown so far has lead me to believe otherwise. Also in this demo when they pause you can see Link's animations the way they are intended to be, smooth and consistent, It only chugs in gameplay which shows it's not just the stream.

Well, at least the Switch is running off Nvidia hardware, which I trust so much more than Radeon and the like.

It's funny I saw a bunch of people bitch about this. I played that game religiously for a few months and never noticed or cared about Frame rate issues. I'm sure I'll do the same here.

This game is just gorgeous and I really love the soundtrack so far. Seems like it may be Nintendo's best score since Mario Galaxy.

It's important to remember that Nintendo generally doesn't show vertical slices like Ubisoft does. Their products generally look better everytime they are shown as they improve the game. I remember a video of Bloodborne that came out before release and it looked like shite. When the game released they had fixed a lot of it. People that went to shows and played the same preview every time said it looked and ran better every show they went to. Zelda is not done so those things and I saw them too may improve. Of course this is on Wii U so it will never look as good as a PS4 game but they can potentially clean up some things that make a big difference.

Is it just me, or is Nintendo making a Miyazaki game? It's just wonderful all around and seems to be highly emulating Naussica, Laputa, and Princess Mononoke.
