So I have a vault door as my work desktop and it gave me an idea: a Fallout vault explorer game. No open world, just a series of different vaults, levels if you will, where your objective is to explore and either restore power, solve the mystery of what happened, fight off whatever inhabits it now, or figure out how to destroy it. You would get a completion percentage to show how many of the secrets you discovered, hidden rooms, vault boy bobble heads, and weapon/supply stashes. Vault sizes could vary in size and you wouldn't know how big they are until you finished exploring.

I'd play it.

Add in the potential to design and build your own vaults and I support this.

I thought about that, but I felt it would be just another Fallout Shelter setup. But the option to explore in a 3D setting would be intriguing.

And honestly, something like this would be great DLC for Fallout 4.

The subway part of Metro might be conducive to the feel of Fallout, but I feel you

Look, if you want to put the subway beneath the Grand Bazaar map, that's fine with me...you can even put the park and the city parts outside of Grand Bazaar. This might be the best idea I've had since the last idea I had.

ETA: Sorry I ruined your Fallout thread. But that's my video game utopia...just give me Battlefield 3.

Not a fallout thread. Would like ideas for other games.

Perhaps an arms seller mini game for BF3. Or one where you just shout profanity at players who don't PTFO.

A pokemon game where you get the option to join Team Rocket and attempt to work your way up through the ranks to not only take control of Team Rocket, but also, THE WORLD!!!

I mean the ability to build and design levels like you are talking about, then share them with the world.
