It's a really solid album. I forgot how good it was. I'm about to start my second playthrough.

I'll play DA2 because I hate myself

So I don't think it's a mystery anymore why I don't finish games.

Can't focus on one game. Ever. A lot of it is dependent on if my wife is on the computer or not, forcing me to the PS3. But I have Chaos Theory, De Blob 2, Ratchet and Clank, and NOW got re-involved in MGS4. I'm halfway through Shadow of the Colossus, and I have FFX and XII that I borrowed from a friend that I keep getting tempted to put in.
This might be a rationalization, but I had the thought the other day that I subconsciously don't want to finish games because when I do, the experience is over with and I won't have it again for a while. I can't start playing a game again right away when I'm done. So if I never finish anything, I'll always have it.

Don't overthink it. You just don't have enough time to play as many games as you want so you jump around.

I'm not too bothered by it. Only reason it's even an issue is because of the e-peen wars here

I haven't beaten many games this year but this year I'm playing games longer, and bigger games so that is part of it. i have over 50 hours in Inquisition and never finished and over 60 hours in Persona but still not done I also sunk over 70 hours into Bloodborne for the platinum.

Hey, I just set a personal goal to help clear my backlog. I'm still far behind my goal (35 beaten this year), but I'm not too far from it. I think I've beaten 14 or 15 so far.

Damn. I left that goal. It was causing me to rush through games and I have enjoyed taking my time more. I would rather play a good game 2 times than 2 mediocre games.

I have a big back log, but I don't stress about it. I play the games I want to play. If I don't enjoy it, I move on. I do like a lot of games so I try to play as many as possible.

I do understand the rushing part. I've also had to force myself to finish things :cough:BravelyDefault:cough: to the point of considering micro-transactions.
Despite that, just putting a more concentrated effort to not jump around had been for the better. Several games so far I'm glad I finished.

I weighed options, searched the internet, and decided Bravely default didn't need to be finished

If I have mostly finished a game and the end requires a lot of grinding. Sometimes I will watch the end on YouTube.
