Wasn't happy to return to work yesterday. Not happy about going back today. I should take another week off.

GMG Summer Sale going on. Nothing worth buying as of yet.

DA2 is coming to a close...thankfully.

After a long week of vacation, I always like to take an extra week when I get back just to relax.

Played some Dark Souls yesterday. Really only played it long enough to beat the first boss and make it to the second.

The best part of vacation is the post-vacation vacation

My wife and I are longing for the day where we feel comfortable leaving sic jr with someone overnight so we could get a night or two away.

Leaving Friday for Gulf Shores for a week. Kind of would rather just sit at the house for a week.

My parents kept little Gardokette for a couple of nights a month ago. My advice is to do it as soon as possible. You won't feel comfortable but the little guy will be fine.

No family around? I left my little one alone with my parents as soon as they asked.

He's sleeping through the night, and I honestly think we're ready, but that's momma's call.

My MIL isn't super hands on with him. She loves being around him until the crying and diapers pop up. I'm sure she was good at that at one point, but she's on full retirement mode now. Great when we're on vacation, but annoying when we need some help.

That's how my dad is but my mom is all in. According to my mom I've already done more hands on than my dad did with all 3 of us

I had a friend who was like that and it was painfully awkward at times. After their first child was born, his wife would occasionally go have a girls night so my friend would invite me over to watch a movie or whatever and help watch the baby, which usually equated to me watching the baby. His wife got home one night and I was rocking her daughter, and she just sighed and said "well that figures".

My dad is from the old school parenting with the wife did all the kids stuff. Apparently I was the only kid he was in the delivery room for.
