After watching the 'Indie Game' documentary on Netflix (really good movie if you haven't seen it), I was so tempted to play Super Meat Boy even though its really not my style of game.

Finally decided to try it last night... God what a great game.
- Perfect controls
- Challenging/rewarding
- Funny
- Addicting
- Fun bosses

I highly highly recommend playing it if you haven't (only $12.99). It will consume you.

Check out the Netflix documentary too if you get a chance. Focuses on the creators of SMB/Fez/Braid and follows the development of the games. There is a sequel to it that is also cool but the 1st one is much better.

Hahah I did the same thing a few years ago. Immediately bought the game. Told my friends about and they were making fun of me. It was free recently on XBOne and they were woke to its glory

It is also super frustrating at times. Especially for someone like me who needs 100% a

Love the game. Was free on Games with Gold a few months ago. Very addicting and can get hard as hell.

One of my favorite games of all time (#25). I bought it on 360 the week it released. I've since sold my 360 (which had my save game, of course) and it still bothers me that I never beat the nightmare version of "The End" or all of "Cotton Alley."

Also, if you enjoyed "Indie Game", check out "Indie Game: Life After". It's also on Netflix. It's not as good as the original but it shows you where those developers are "now" (as of 2014, at least).

It reminds me of N. Essentially the same thing as Super Meat Boy.

Yeah I gave that one a watch. I liked the first more but the 2nd was cool. The Q&A segment was pretty hilarious, when he kills that Japanese questioner.

Any other games that are similar to SMB you'd recommend?

I've been wanting to play Braid, Fez, The Witness, and Spelunky.

Suggestions? Which are most fun/addicting/challenging/replayable?

I've never really been a puzzle game guy but I never was really a challenging platformer guy either before Super Meat Boy. Changing my style.
