Price range between 150 and 400.

It will be connected to an ASUS gaming laptop (playing mostly first person shooters)

Thanks in advance all.

Depends on what you want. TN panels are cheaper and generally have better gaming specs but worse viewing angles and color reproductions than an IPS monitor. I have a 144hz BenQ TN panel and generally have no complaints. Another thing to consider is if you are playing from a gaming laptop you might not hit 144 FPS at 1080 depending on the rig, in which case some of the extra gaming performance might be lost on you anyway. Also while I don't have a G-Sync monitor myself apparently it's game changing.

Shut up scrub. You're not even good at video games.

I got the Acer IPS 27" 1440p Gsync monitor, it's amazing.

Jumping on this myself:

Ever since my last monitor died, I've been using a shitty vizio and it's killing me. Same price range as OP, only it's for my desktop. Running a GTX970.
