Or just clear the mines and stockpile gold/iron/Quartz.

If you build enough sprinklers and plant the right crops, you will never need to worry about money again.

Fall is my big moneymaker. Cranberries are OP.

Blueberries in the summer, cranberries in fall. Spring kinda sucks since the best crop is gated behind the ability to get seeds.

I pirated the game just to check it out after seeing the Giantbomb guys give it 5 stars. Played it for about an hour and could already tell I am going to really enjoy this game.

Just bought it on Steam. Just gotta figure out how to move my save file

If you look up how to change your profession choice, it involves editing your save file. You can probably use that a method to just copy/paste your own save.

You'll love it and it's a steal at $15.

.

The original FarmVille. Man my farm was perfect. It's crazy that a concept so simple and that sounds so boring was so much fun.

Seems like Harvest Moon meets Minecraft set in a 16-bit Zelda setting

Well I'm hooked. A 'week' in. Decided to go ahead and fix the beach bridge, Chopping down trees with the first axe completely destroys your energy. One day I was exhausted and ready for bed by 9am. Got a cat, met the wizard and became one with the forest, decided who I want to marry (Abigail) as soon as I figure out how to advance that. I keep giving her flowers and it doesn't change anything. Making money just with fishing, random wild crops, and completing the quests, not even worried about farming or building right now. I just have like 4-5 crop tiles going since the original parsnips.

It seems like you get the same amount of G for crop, fish etc no matter whether you sell them at the store or put them in the crate. Is that true for everything or just the lower level stuff?

As far as I know the payout for the store and the crate is the same.

As far as romance, it just takes time.

Such an addicting game. So much content under the surface. My farm is setup now with sprinklers and seed machines so it's really only a few morning chores before I have the whole rest of the day to do quests and stuff. In my first two years, my farmwork took up 99% of my day (but I did make 150,000+ during that time )

I started out doing the exact opposite, spending 99% of the day exploring everything and not worrying about grinding on the farm. But the game's starting to make me change that, I'm reaching the point in the quests where I need expensive stuff I can't afford. Gonna have to get to work
