You have to either run or use the fast travel a lot on that chapter. No reason to fight that many zombies. I would just haul arse to my destination and only fight the zombies I really had to.
I would see how far I had to go for missions then select the closet fast travel to it, go there, then run the rest of the way.
Also, lots of meat bomb to distract the zombies helps.

I'll have to download it. I might be on later than that or I might just watch it tomorrow. It's nice to watch Skyrim IRL.

Last night was fricking awesome. Can someone tell me why zombies are level 25 when I join somebody else's game? I'm only a level 16. WTF?

It doesn't matter though as they should still be a level 16 for you. The zombies levels adjust for the players that are attacking it that way it balances out.

There's an option to scale enemies to your level when someone of a higher level joins your game. Maybe that had something to do with it.
I jumped up to level 7. This game is fun as frick. The concept of beating the shite out of zombies with various objects (my favorite being the snow shovel) never gets old. I lol'd when that zombie bitch was trying to get up, and I kicked her right in the arse.
BTW, you would love Borderlands. I don't have it anymore, but I can get my hands on it if you want to run through it after we finish Dead Island.

Is Borderlands similar in style to Dead Island?
I was told that Borderlands is 'meh' solo but awesome coop. I love Dead Island and I've played primarily solo save Saturday night I played about 3 hours with KK. Coop is obviously more fun but the solo is great too IMO.
Just wondering if Borderlands is indeed worth getting to play mainly solo.

You CAN play BL solo, but it's bread and butter is in the co-op. The enemies scale up and down depending on how many people are in the game. I just got a tad bored playing by myself.
MJ, I'll be home this Friday, so if do get it, I'll be willing to run a little with you. The only characters I've yet to touch is the soldier and sniper.

I don't have BL yet. Still playing DI.
I was trying to determine wheater or not to get it. I figured DI is geared more toward coop like BL but if they are similar in that regard, I likely won't have an issue playing BL solo.
I'm gonna scope out ebay for a copy this week.

If you want the coop experience, you can join a public lobby on BL.
