Yay or nay? I'm hesitant about losing my 100 skill level but I understand that it will help me level up faster. Is it worth it?

Did a search and didn't see that it had been discussed.

Find a skill you can easily get to 100 but don't need it either way.

On my main I have gone 1-100 on block like 5 times.

If you already have capped armor you can stand up to giants pretty well. Block and heal, block and heal.

Absolutely. I've done it twice with my archery skill.

Every chance you have. The extra perk points are worth the drop in skill. And at a high level the skill rises much faster the second time.

Basically the only skill I wouldn't want to reset is Destruction or Restoration.

I've resettled my sneak skill 5 times and my blocking skill twice. It helped me level up to make my Deadric Armor faster.

No mods right now, though I'm considering it. Lots of cool stuff out there.

If you had tons of ingredients stored up because you're obsessive compulsive about it - and you have all the boost gear enchanted, alchemy is pretty easy to level back up with the quickness.
