School me on Steam
Posted by 318TigerFan on 2/14/16 at 12:03 pm00
I've been a long time console gamer, but never bought a next gen console as I have a family now and really don't think I'll play enough to justify the cost.
I've lately had the itch to play some games. I have an Apple TV 4, but the games on there really don't do it for me. I've tried Afterpulse and Modern Combat 5. I mostly play shooters btw.
I've looked at Steam, but I'm not sure if my laptop can even run any games as it is a pretty basic laptop and is about 3 years old. I know nothing about steam or PC gaming for that matter.
Any good games on Steam that don't require a gaming laptop?

If you consider indie games as "good", then yes you'll find games that can run on a toaster. They won't be FPS though.

You can also try Good Old Games, they have a huge selection of older games that may not tax your system as much. Most are cheap too.

Single player old shooters may work for you
