What do you mean by active?
Log in 5/6 times a day to do attacks loot pick up builds etc. Do most of my heavy fighting on weekends though.

You can only really attack once every 30 minutes based on troop building. In a 10 hr period I check once every 2 hours.

I spent about 90-120 when it came out, I still play but not I log on once a day. I've been playing now for over a year (almost 2 I believe)

I don't know if this is legit but I read that you can drop below 200 trophies and raid villages that are inactive and get better loot.
Idk if its true but I've found some 50-60k resources with little effort to get them

It's true. We all did it in td2 one night. Doesn't last tho. Other people have the same idea and keep dumping trophies on you so ou won't stay below 100 too long. Then you end up taking the whores walk of shame the next day grinding for 15 trophies at a time.

I've never dropped below 1500 trophies on purpose....
Right now I stay at 2k+ and I find plenty of bases with 150k or more and pink walls I can get 90% of loot and 2*

I keep getting murdered between silver 1 and gold 3. None of my attacks seem to work.

But on bronze 1-3 I can murder bases with 20 barbs and 10 archers picking up 10-20k in loot each time.

Eh, look for a weak point where they can drop a big bomb, drop 1 giant to see if they have a spring, if he reaches wall drop 2 more giants and then WB while spreading archers out to destroy things on perimeter

There is an ideal trophy level for each town hall level to maximize available resources. At th8 it is around 1200, for th9 it is 1400-1500. At these trophy levels you should be able to find quite a few bases with at least 100k gold and elixer, and occasionally find 250k+ of each. I don't attack unless there is the possibility of getting at least 100k gold, elixer doesn't matter because I pretty much stay maxed out
