ViewSonic ELITE XG320U 32 Inch 4K UHD 1ms 150Hz Gaming Monitor with FreeSync Premium Pro, HDR 600, HDMI, DisplayPort, USB, and Advanced Ergonomics for Esports
Or
BenQ Mobiuz EX2710U 27 Inch 4K UHD IPS 144 Hz Computer Gaming Monitor with 1ms GtG, HDR 600, HDRi, HDMI 2.1, 98% P3, Gaming Color Optimizer FreeSync Premium Pro, Built-in Speaker, Remote Control
Feel free to give any other recommendations..
I want to upgrade from my LG 24GN650-B Ultragear Gaming Monitor 24” FHD (1920 x 1080) IPS Display, 144Hz Refresh Rate, 1ms (GtG), AMD FreeSync Premium and want to make sure I'm future proof with the 2.1 hdmi and 4k for consoles. But I'm sure by the time the ps6 comes out something else would change with consoles and hdmi connections.

Yeah I don't get paying that type of money for a 32" monitor when you can get a 40" high end 4K TV for the same price

Depends on how close you sit to it. Even high end TVs generally can’t touch a high end monitor on real world response time. But that only matters if you’re sitting within a couple of feet of the display. Any more than that and a TV is likely going to give the same or similar performance, and size begins to matter far more.

Because i have an area where i game that's small and I'm particular when i game as far as not just gaming on a tv. I don't do it competitively but i wasn't to take advantage of the graphics the console has to offer.. i know 1440 is good but ps5 doesn't do vrr on 1440.. only 1080 and 4k.. i have 3tvs in the house but usually the kids or wife is in them, so this is just something for me to unwind on.

Which is why i was wanting to stick with the 27 but would consider 32 since it's the same price.. and like you said most tvs don't compare to monitors.
