The range is pretty bad

Honestly, 20-30ft is pretty impressive range. Wii U finally got over the 10 million shipped mark. The Nintendo faithful are definitely very active and it'll probably have the best tie ratio ever for any console or handheld.

Also, very surprised to see sales thread on TD. This is the stuff I really enjoy. PS4 is still ahead of the PS2, which is amazing, but I do think the PS2 will pull ahead soon. (PS2 had a delayed launch so it's growing a better rate atm)

Regardless, it's doing very well and things are only going to get better as the next wave of games finally release.

The range is probably not that far. I sold it so I don't remember for certain but I know I couldn't leave my living room.

I'm always interested in sales numbers too but most of the internet turns it into a fanboy war. I do think the PS4 has to slow down at some point but there is no idea when that will be. China lifting their ban could be an interesting development to watch.

I agree, although I do think Microsoft takes the holidays this year like they did last year.

I don't get why people get so hung up on the sales numbers. I buy the system that I want to play. I don't care if it "wins" I want all the consoles to sell millions and millions. Competition is a fantastic thing.

It's entertaining to see the moves these big companies make in response to each other and how it works out for them. The drama that has gone down with the 360 knocking Sony off their pedestal and then the roles reversing is soap opera material. Now you've got Microsoft doing all the right things to mount a comeback and Nintendo is a sleeping giant lurking in the background. I'm getting erect just talking about it

Well, sales numbers show the future of the platform in most cases. As the userbase increases, the games available will increase. If the platform starts to tank, a lot of publishers will abandon it.

They should. I know Xbox has Tomb Raider and Halo, so that will push units. But the biggest system seller will be Star Wars and Black Ops 3 this holiday. Obviously that is multi-plat. COD partnering with Sony will have an effect.

Really, I think it all hinges on how good of a game Halo is. Have people moved on? If it turns out great it could be an explosion.

I don't think the One will outsell PS4 by much.

I'm interested to see how much the new PS4 COD partnership matters. COD was partnered with Xbox for so many years that I wonder if all those fans will all the sudden switch or just stay with xbox because their group is on there already.
