The little bit I played of one of them on PS3 was a lot of fun. Do 3D platformers still have a presence in the gaming market?

I was trying to think of any as of late and I'm drawing a blank, but I haven't been paying attention to that genre either.
ETA And I would think the Ratchet and Clank name is recognizable enough to get it some decent numbers at the least.

Not super well, but certainly well enough to make some money. It's one of those titles that helps well-round your lineup. The series has typically sold 1-3 million.
